hum, what is your computer abilities , is it a Windows 7 or Vista ( personnaly , I do use WINDOWS XP !!!! so I should crash morever than you do :p but I don't)
Some areas are hard to load you know , for example , when I try to enter arena and there's too much people , I crash. I gotta relog and sometimes , all is frozen too , but once I relog , it's fixed ...

You will probably find this is either your Network, or there is a lot of players in the game. For lower machines and graphics cards rendering all the players and such will take much longer and could put the system in a crash.

I was looking through the internet when I found these statistics.

In quiet non Laggy places (no people, no mobs around)
Down: 8 kbps = 8 b/s
Up: 4 kbps = 4 b/s

In very Laggy places (like Darkon2 Town in S1 - far zoom, normal look)
Down: 3000 kbps (3 Mbps) = 384 kB/s
Up: 1000 kbps (1 Mbps) = 128 kB/s

In very Laggy places (same Darkon2 Town in S1 - close up zoom, facing the ground)
Down: 1500 kbps (1.5 Mbps) = 192 kB/s
Up: 500 kbps (1/2 Mbps) = 64 kBs

Note:
1. this are the "average" measurements obtained using NetPerSec
2. FlyFF configured at 1024x748 running with minimal and low graphic settigns, so expect higher numbers if you use High Quality settings, and/or Higher resolution like 1280x1024
3. 128 kB/s = 1 Mbps = 1024 Kbps

That may offer some help if your network isn't that fast then that could be why, also if your computer is crashing try following some of these guides.

Disk clean up- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310312
Disk fragmentation - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314848

Post if this didn't help.
